Reply Bot
Privacy policy
Reply Bot ("we") lets businesses automate replies on their Facebook Pages in Messenger. This policy explains what data we process and why.
Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, or your Facebook user ID and name if you log in with Facebook.
- Facebook Page access: when you connect a page, Facebook gives us an access token for that page. We store it encrypted and use it only to receive and answer messages for the pages you connect, and to set up the page's Messenger settings (Get Started button, greeting, menu).
- Messenger contacts of your page: for people who write to your page we store their page-scoped ID, first and last name, profile picture link, the time of their last message and the text of their last message, so the bot can personalise replies and you can see your contacts.
- Automations and statistics: the messages you build and counts of messages sent, delivered, read and clicked.
- Billing: your wallet balance, redeemed top-up codes and plan purchases.
How we use data
Only to run the service: answer messages with your automations, show you statistics, manage your plan, prevent abuse (for example one free trial per page), and give support. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Messages are delivered through Meta's Messenger Platform. We do not share data with other third parties, except where required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account exists. Delivery logs are deleted after 14 days and technical logs after 30 days. You can delete a page and all its data, or your whole account, at any time from the dashboard. See data deletion.
Security
Passwords are hashed, Facebook tokens are encrypted at rest, and all traffic uses HTTPS.
